Imagine you’ve just renovated the outdoor space of your home. You’ve put in hours of effort, a considerable amount of money, and a lot of patience. The project comes out beautiful with nice hardscape features, a variety of flora, your patio and your backyard are incredibly inviting…until. When the sun sets, if your space hasn’t been properly set up with outdoor lighting then it won’t be such an enjoyable place to hang out or entertain anymore. Even if you’ve installed lights, if it’s not done properly, your massive investment will lose its luster. This is when it’s important to bring in professionals.
A company with extensive knowledge of outdoor design and construction understands how to synergize with the landscape of your property. At Design Scapes, Inc. we’ve been designing and constructing unique one-of-a-kind outdoor living spaces, and outdoor lighting is one of our specialties. We appreciate how light interacts with all types of materials. Lighting can emphasize architectural attributes, and generate depth and allure in a garden. We know how to position lights in such a way to bring out the natural textures of a stone wall, use upward facing lighting to highlight the beauty of a mature tree, or when and how to use pathway lighting.
Properly Integrating Outdoor Lighting
The professional you hire for your outdoor project should approach lighting subtly with the objective to enhance the space, not take away from it. It’s important your outdoor lighting compliments the design of your space. At Design Scapes Inc., we integrate outdoor lighting into our design. We design and build outdoor living spaces, and always take outdoor lighting into consideration in the beginning phases of the design. This guarantees that the lighting flows with the design. During the design phase, we take into consideration color, material and style of the space to select lights that align with the overall design.
Properly Installing Outdoor Lighting
You can choose the perfect lighting, integrate it into the design seamlessly and still end up with the wrong outdoor lighting because of poor installation. At Design Scapes, Inc. we take installation just as seriously as we take design and we’re experts at both. When installing wiring for the outdoor lighting, we take into consideration any existing structures like fences, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens. We never inflict damage to these structures or compromise their aesthetics.
For example, we install lights on a pergola in a way that compliments the design and maintains its stability. We install lights into an outdoor kitchen without compromising its functionality. Our installation process is meticulous and thorough to maintain the beauty of your outdoor space.
